School Rules

  • All Princians are expected to conduct themselves with dignity.
  • Students must carry their Almanac to school everyday. It must have their photograph and complete information.
  • Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform must be worn on all working days.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals.
  • Girls should plait their hair if it is below their shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
  • Girls should not apply nail polish or mehndi during the school session. Nails to be trimmed atleast once a week.
  • Students who come to the school on their own should arrive at the school five minutes before the bell rings.
  • Students who come to school in the care of personal drivers should never leave before the driver arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go alone should be prompt in returning straight home.
  • Those who are walking home alone from the bus stop should not loiter around but be prompt in returning home.
  • Lending or borrowing of any article is not permitted and the school is not responsible for the goods lost.

  • Bringing / giving gifts is not allowed in the school.
  • Changing classrooms between periods, when necessary, should be done silently and in an orderly manner.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desk, chairs or damage any furniture, write or draw anything on the wall or damage things belonging to others. Damage done should be reported at once to the class teacher. Any damage done will have to be made good by the parents of the student(s) concerned.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend/expel students whose conduct is harmful to other students or to the school.
  • Each student should have two identity cards with his/her photograph. One has to be worn by the child daily and the other to be kept with the parents. Those who are coming to pickup the student from the school/bus stop must always bring the student's school identity card for identification.
