At Prince Public School workshops are the way to teach students and teachers new skills and to provide information.
Workshops help students to develop skills like leadership, time management, public speaking, and character building.

Workshops are provided to students with information on a variety of topics, such as art, music, technology, or career planning. It helps students to engage with recent developments in various fields and create community with shared interests. It strengthens students to learn from each other and experts to overcome challenges.

Various workshops can provide teachers with best practices in pedagogy and enhancement of their skills. It provides engagement and create a community atmosphere conducive to learning.

A two-day Capacity Building Workshop for all the teachers on the theme “Creative and Critical Thinking Skills”. Teachers were encouraged to use different strategies like Webb’s Depth of Knowledge Framework, Bloom’s Taxonomy and CRAAP Model and four corner strategy to create the interest of students in the class. On day two, the educators learned the use of combining critical and creative thinking to create a dynamic intellectual framework, enabling individuals to approach challenges with both analytical rigor and imaginative flair.

The workshop was facilitated by two renowned educationists as resource persons- Ms. Bhavna Arora and Ms. Neha Sharma. The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the teaching skills of educators and to align teaching methodologies with the latest CBSE guidelines and standards. The workshop aimed to educate teachers on the importance of clearly defined learning outcomes, introduce innovative pedagogical approaches to improve student engagement, to discuss effective assessment techniques that would foster professional growth among teachers by sharing best practices and new insights in the field of education. They emphasized the significance of well-defined learning outcomes.

A workshop on “Menstruation Awareness” was conducted on 06-08-2024 for the girls of class IV and V, facilitated by the school counsellor and special educator, to promote understanding and break the stigma surrounding menstruation. The session provided students with accurate information about the menstrual cycle, hygiene practices, and the emotional and physical changes associated with it.

On November 6, 2024, Prince Public School, Rohini hosted an engaging workshop, for the Classes IX-XII, on Cyber Security by KPMG, led by Ms Deepshikha and Mr Mridul from the Digital Trust Assurance & Compliance Practice. The session focused on equipping students with essential knowledge to stay safe and responsible online, covering key aspects of Cyber Security.

A talk on “Thalassemia Awareness” was organized for Class XII students on 29th April 2024, with Rtn. Dr Tejinder Singh, Former President of Rotary Club of Delhi Safdarjung and Chairperson Rotary District 3011 Thalassemia Committee. She provided valuable insights into the genetic disorder, explaining its causes, symptoms, and impact on individuals and families.

A session was organized on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th May, 2024 for the students of class IX, X, XI and XII to spread awareness and highlight the health risks associated with tobacco. Students were informed about the dangers of using tobacco, the business practices of tobacco companies and what an individual can do to claim their right to healthy living.

A workshop on “Good Touch and Bad Touch” was conducted on 04-08-2024 for the students of class III and IV, facilitated by the school counsellor and special educator. The session aimed to educate students about personal safety, boundaries, and body autonomy in an age-appropriate and sensitive manner.
