GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

  • Parents must check the haircut, uniform and punctuality of their ward in the morning.
  • It is always advisable to write to school about the problems of your ward or to seek guidance.
  • Parents must not enter the classroom to meet their wards or teachers during class hours. They can only meet the teachers from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm on all working days with prior appointment.
  • Parents are required to co operate with the school in helping in the progress of their children. They should check the Almanac daily for any circular, notice or invitation that may have been issued.
  • Parent should ensure that the earliest possible action is taken on the letters sent from the school from time to time.
  • Parents must encourage their ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
  • Daily pocket money should be restricted. Excessive spending should be discouraged. Birthday celebration of the child should be confined to his/her classmates only and that too on a modest scale.
  • Parents are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone numbers. This is extremely important as information is sent through bulk SMS from time to time.
  • Parents are required not to go to the classes directly or send for any pupil through any peon during the school hours for any reason whatsoever. For all cases, they have to contact the school office.
  • Children should come to school in time. If they report late, they may not be allowed to attend classes.
  • Children when sick should not be sent to school to attend classes or take exams. This is for strict compliance.
  • As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not be taken home on a half day leave. In an emergency, written application must be sent along with the child. No short leave will be granted under any circumstances on the exam days.
  • For any specific medical problem, the parents must inform the school authority prior to the session.
  • Any communication by the parents should be addressed to the Principal.
  • Parents must give enough time to the Principal’s office to address the applications such as asking for Transfer Certificate etc, submitted by them.
  • Parents must ensure that their ward does not carry money for any activity conducted in the school unless a circular duly signed by the Principal is received.
